Introduction

This privacy policy describes how CurlingWorks collects, uses, and protects information from visitors and players. Some sections (such as accounts and matchmaking) may describe features under development. If a feature is not yet active, the related section does not currently apply.

Information We Collect

Website analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics tool to understand how visitors use our website. The information collected is aggregated and anonymized, and may include pages visited, device type, and approximate region. We do not use tracking cookies or collect personal information for advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across websites.

App analytics

We use Mixpanel to understand how people use our apps. Mixpanel may collect information such as device type, operating system, region, in-game actions (for example: session length, game progress, or crash events), and a session identifier. This information is used to improve game performance and features.

Mailing list

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address to send you news and updates about CurlingWorks. We will only send you emails if you have given consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.

We may use a third-party provider to manage our mailing list. These providers store your information securely and process it on our behalf. See their privacy policy for details.

Contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can reply. The form is handled by Formspree, which emails the message to us and keeps a copy on our behalf. We use this information only to respond to you, and we don’t add you to our mailing list.

Technical data

We may collect anonymous technical data, such as crash reports and performance logs, to improve stability and functionality.

Links and embedded content
